A + C are warmth, a quiet confidence and partnership personified. their synergy reminded me of an excerpt by yung pueblo, who writes that a healthy relationship can be defined as ‘two people taking turns being the one who steps up when the other is going through a turbulent moment’, both who are ‘capable of listening’ and ‘holding space’.
the afternoon kicked off with fifty loved ones arriving by bus, who walked down the 19th century limestone cottage aisle to find A + C ready and waiting to say their i do’s. non-traditional, short and sweet; everyone bursting at the seams with excitement.
a little later into the evening, golden hour fell and delivered the most perfect from end-to-end rainbow, then double rainbow, then a sprinkle of rain— just enough to smooch and dance and play in. if that’s not a nod of approval from mama earth, i don’t know what is. finally, the sun set and everyone gathered ‘round to raise a glass to the newlyweds, hear speeches, and dance into the night.
